Carey James Lewis passed away suddenly at his home, with his wife Debbie by his side, in Chapleau on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the age of 62 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife Deborah (Debbie) Wood Lewis, son Jeremy (Jennifer), daughter Alaina (Howard Wilson), grandson Connor Lewis. Son of Pearl and the late Ron. A special brother of the late Brian, Cathy (Lorn) Morden, Graham (Joanne) Lewis, Murray (Melissa) Lewis, amazing brother-in-law of Dale (Cathy) Wood, Sally (Brad) Ironmonger, and Steven (Peggy) Wood. Carey was a wonderful uncle to Chris, Nelson and Vance Wood, Josh, Jacob and Jed Ironmonger, Andrew and Jenna Wood, Christopher Morden, Elliot and Suzie Lewis, and Micheal and Braeden Lewis. Carey was a quiet man, a gentle man, who had a deep love for his family which always came first. He was married to the love of his life for almost 40 years. When his grandson Connor came along six years ago, that completed his family. Connor was the most wonderful gift he was ever given along with his son Jeremy, his daughter Alaina and their spouses. Family meant everything to him. Carey will be so missed. A Celebration of Life took place at Trinity United Church, Chapleau on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11 am with Mrs. Anna Chikoski officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church in Chapleau and would be greatly appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home, Wawa, 1-800-439-4937).
