Bless those who have made this wise decision
To the Expositor:
Recent legislation requires electricity suppliers to reconnect (as well as some other necessary compliances) their customers that have been disconnected by them. Some customers apparently have made a calculated decision to divorce themselves from Mighty Hydro. This appears to most of us to be suicide by lack of electricity, spite, etc. Not so—a gas home generator produces at the constant rate of .08 cents per kilowatt hour. Hydro victims pay an “averaged out” rate of .13.3 cents per kilowatt hour.
Bless these people whom have made the wise decision to make your own hydro—even sell their own excess into the grid for .82 cents per kilowatt hour.
