Henry passed away on September 19, 2014 at the Manitoulin Health Centre. In loving memory of Henry Webkamigad, predeceased by his wives Agnes Webkamigad and Georgina “LaLa” Webkamigad. Loving father of Dwight Recollet (Harriett), Lionel “Shib”, Chris Pheasant (Joanna), Caroline Webkamigad, Marc Pheasant (Monica), Jerrold Webkamigad (Peggy). Proud grandfather to Lionel Jr., David Glennie, Lannell Pheasant (Jonas), Rachel Hare (Sundance), Jordan Peltier, Keegan Peltier (Grace), Jasmine Peltier (Khalid), Joanne Recollet (Casey), Adam Recollet, Launie Pheasant (Courtney), Brenden Pheasant and Preston Webkamigad. Predeceased by Wayne, Karen, Dwight Jr. Recollet and survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by siblings: Josephine Pelletier, William Webkamigad and Howard Webkamigad (Judy). Sister in-laws Lillian Webkamigad, Shirley Williams, Rosella Kinoshameg (James), Barbara Ann Nolan (Tom), Joan, Marjorie and Kathy. Brothers-in-law Albert Hardy Peltier, Earling Pelletier and Paul Williams. Survived by many nieces and nephews and good friend Max Simon. Godchildren Regina Beaudin, Wanda Kimewon, Rosella St. George and Jasmine Peltier. Predeceased by siblings: Agatha, George, Joseph, Earl, Earnest, Alfred, Jacob, Jacques, Marjorie, Sarah and Michael. Henry enjoyed life and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had hobbies which included watching Jerrold at the horse pulls, reading, hunting, golfing, cooking, preserving foods, harvesting traditional medicines, playing cards, and watching sports. He worked in the forestry industry as a logger, construction weighing of trucks, a guard at the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Services, and volunteered at the Amikook Senior’s Centre as a cook. In his younger years he played for the Wiky Hockey Club “Chiefs” and also played hockey while attending school at Garnier Residential School, Spanish Ontario. Will be missed by his little buddy Huddy, Preston and Rachel. As per the wishes of Henry, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at St. Anthony Daniel’s Church in Kaboni starting at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Holy Cross Mission Church at 11 am.
