ATTICUS ANTHONY JONES May 29, 2014 – October 5, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Atticus Anthony Jones, a beloved soul who left us on October 5, 2023 in his home in Waterloo, Ontario. Cherished son of Russell Jones (Dara) and Ashley Makuch (Derrick). Beloved Grandson of Marilyn Jones (Charles Jones, predeceased), Kenneth Toulouse, Tony and Sylvia Makuch, Brett and Monica Schultz. Brother to Seth, Caius, Sadie, Maxwell and Skylar. Nephew of Shirley Gregorini (Jim), Colleen Jones (predeceased), Claudette Fournier (Nathan), Vincent Jones (predeceased), Savannah Jones, Danielle Makuch and Michael Makuch. Atticus will also be missed by many cousins and extended family. Atticus was a bright, spirited young boy whose joy, love and boundless curiosity touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. In his short time on Earth, he left a lasting legacy of happiness and inquisitiveness that will forever be cherished by those who shared in his light. Everyone was invited to join in honouring the memory of Atticus Anthony Jones at a mass which was held at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Sagamok, Ontario, on October 15, 2023, at 9 am. Following the mass, there was a feast celebrating Atticus’s life at the New Community Hall on Star Road, Sagamok, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Earthsave Canada in memory of Atticus Anthony Jones, who was a spirited vegetarian.
