‘Bring Me Back’ is a novel by British author B.A. Paris. This is a psychological thriller that revolves around a young couple in love and a devastating disappearance.  Even years later the loss and questions surrounding it are opening up an abyss full of secrets and suspense.

Canadian author Wayne Grady’s book ‘Up From Freedom’ brings to life the struggles of a young Southerner who moves to New Orleans to avoid being caught up in his family’s plantation. His father owns slaves and treats them badly. When he leaves, he takes a young slave with him to protect her. This story reaches from Texas to Indiana in a time when America was on the edge of a Civil War. The times are changing–but forgotten does not mean forgiven in people’s very long memories.

‘Reversible Knits’ by Iris Schreier teaches techniques on how to knit both sides of a garment right. The book showcases patterns for shrugs, throws, hats, scarves, wraps, afghans, shawls, collars, hoodies, belts, capes and headbands. These great knitting projects will look beautiful even inside out!
