It is important to learn how to reduce our ‘plastic footprint on’ this our planet, Earth. It’s really all about taking personal responsibility for our own use and misuse of plastic products by making smarter choices to keep the planet and our own bodies cleaner and energized.
‘The 17 Day Plan to Stop Aging’ by Dr. Kike Morena is a four part plan to look younger, feel healthier, increase your stamina in every part of your body, follow a simple and healthy nourishment guide and to exercise. This is valuable information for people of all ages–it can be used to target specific areas or to improve overall body health–putting the power in your hands.
‘Sarah’ by Marguerite Harmon Bro is a detailed and sensitive novel concerning the growth and development of an artist. This is a story about talent, intelligence and the ongoing struggle to find a livable balance. This is a good book with a credible heroine–to be enjoyed by older teens and adults alike.
Barbara Erskine’s novel, ‘Hiding From the Light’ introduces a successful career woman, Emma, who also has a strong romantic attachment. Then an ad appears in the local paper for the sale of a cottage on the coast–the very place where her well-remembered youthful holidays happened. Emma buys the home of her childhood dreams and then finds herself being tormented by disturbing and ghostly dreams with connections from the past–a time when witches were hunted. As Halloween Eve nears, the feeling of impending peril and absolute evil takes over in the small town. This is a novel of terror, conflict and drama–riveting and mesmerizing in its detail.
Young Adult Pick: ‘City of Heavenly Fire’ by Cassandre Clare.
DVD Pick: ‘Finding Dory’ – this animated Disney film finds Nemo’s adorably loopy friend Dory searching for her lost parents–a great movie for the whole family!
