Lloyd Baker, a resident of Evansville, died at his residence on Sunday, March 9, 2014. He was born in Mills Township, son of the late Lawrence Alexander Baker and the late Alma Pearl (nee Boyes). Lloyd had worked as a mechanic at McQuarrie Motors for 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a former trustee for the Manitoulin Central School Board and very involved in his community as a volunteer. Beloved husband of Shirley Lorine Baker (nee Robinson). Loving father of Jim, Kathy (Tom), Don (Brenda). Predeceased by his son Terry Tom and his daughter-in-law Fern. Cherished grandfather of Thomas, Patrick, Devon, Caitlyn and Tamara. Great-grandfather of Allie. Dear brother of William, Charles and Margret. Predeceased by his brother Allan. Lloyd is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Culgin Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 7 pm to 9 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Mills Cemetery.
