A 29-year-old male wanted by the UCCM Anishinaabe Police Service is believed to be carrying a loaded pistol and fled to Sagamok First Nation.
The UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service posted a public safety alert on October 18 for the Indigenous Territory near Massey along the North Shore, concerning Waubnung (Wabi) Shawanda.
A social media post noted, “This male is wanted by UCCM Anishinaabe Police for serious offences and may have fled to hide in Sagamok. Do not approach. We (urge) anyone with information to call 911 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.”
Thus far there have been no updates.
