In a rare occurrence, Monday’s snowstorm caused all of Manitoulin’s highways to be shut down, including off-Island, from Little Current to Espanola. Police were turning vehicles around at the intersection of Highway 540 and the Booseneck Road as well as at the swing bridge (inset photo).
