Commendations to tour coordinator Katherine Grant
To the Expositor:
The Island Quilt Show 2014 held at the Debajehmujig Theatre was spectacular. The Quilt of Belonging was simply amazing. One would need a few hours of viewing to do justice to this work of art. The many quilts etc., also on display, are a testimony of the wonderful quilting that is produced on the Island. It takes skill, patience and numerous hours of meticulous stitching to render such excellent workmanship.
I commend Kathrine Grant, coordinator of the tour for the Island Quilters, on such a wonderful venture. I am sure that she would not have been able to accomplish such a feat without the many volunteers that contributed to this success. Well done Manitoulin Island Quilters, well done.
