“I always vote, then I feel no constraints when critizing, whining, complaining or generally carping or grousing”
To the Expositor:
On September 22, 2015, out of idle curiosity, I went into the Elections Canada office on Worthington Street to ask of the recreation centre was the only place to vote. I was greeted with enthusiasm and told I could vote right there and at that very moment. Fortunately, I had taken my voter registration card with me, so I did the merry deed. Since the complex was the only place on the card to vote, though, it made me wonder how many other elderly people will unnecessarily arrange a ride when they could just vote at the Rolston building. Or possible not vote at all. I always vote. Then I feel no constraints when criticizing, whining, complaining or generally carping or grousing about government policies. (And don’t we all grouse?) But I think officials should have made the voting option clear.

The hours to vote are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 9 pm; Saturdays, 9 am to 6 pm; and Sundays, noon to 4 pm. This Elections Canada poll is open until Tuesday, October 13. Election Day is Monday, October 19.
