A hope that hunters will keep trash inside their vehicles

A reminder that such items are toxic to wildlife and pets

To the Expositor:

To all hunters and guests to Barrie Island: I hope your hunt was successful and your visit to our beautiful Island was enjoyable and relaxing.

I am not a hunter myself, so I can only guess that you have left the beer cans, pop cans, coffee cups, plastic trays, cigarette pkgs., blood coated plastic gloves on the side of the road for our deer to eat after you have left. Please keep these “treats” inside your vehicles and take them home to your own local wildlife to enjoy. These items are toxic to our wildlife and pets.

Thanking you in advance for next year’s hunt.
