To the Expositor:
Mark well and take good notice, all those who demand that government increasingly take over providing services from the private sector with the belief that somehow the service will be better and distributed fairly to all. Here is a prime example of a non-profit service, provided by an organization that does not require initiative be taken by its employees.
Had the docks been operated by an evil, capitalist profit seeking public enemy number one corporation, those in a position of responsibility would be accountable, and the current situation would have been anticipated and avoided, all in the name of, brace yourselves…profit. But no, let us submit even further and demand more government and thank our masters for the new hat when they defecate on our heads.
