Alexander (Alex) Eshkakogan (Ozawanimiki)

Alexander (Alex) Eshkakogan (Ozawanimiki) of Sagamok passed away at his residence on Monday, April 29, 2013 in his 77th year. Beloved son of the late Alfred and Sara (nee Trudeau) Eshkakogan. Dear brother of Dominic (wife Gladys) both predeceased, Hubert (wife Victoria) both predeceased, Marcella Jones (husband Norman) of Sagamok, Frank (predeceased) (wife Elizabeth), Loretta McGregor (Dolphis predeceased), Margaret Toulouse (husband Howard), Patrick (Elaine), Valentine predeceased (wife Catherine) all of Sagamok and Marina Mejaki (husband Urban) of Wikwemikong. Alec was a dear uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle to many. He will be missed by his many cousins, friends and godchildren. Friends called at the Enki-Wiidjigaabwitjaadaying Centre, Sagamok on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 12 noon. Funeral Mass was from St. Raphael’s Spiritual Centre, Sagamok on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 1 pm with Father Teo Ugaban officiating. Interment in the New Sagamok Cemetery.
