Starting Friday May 29th, 2020 Providence Bay Beach, Mindemoya Government Dock Beach, Ketchankookem Trail/Old 551 Beach and the Monument Road Beach near Stanley Park will be officially opened to the public.
The Municipality has decided it is using a phased and cautious approach to reopening some of these areas that will allow residents to enjoy fresh air, nature and physical activity. Any person using permitted amenities must ensure that they maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres from anyone else using the area.

The Boardwalks, playground equipment and team sports venues and activities are closed. Washrooms are being opened at the Providence Bay Beach but converted to single-use. The Discovery Centre washrooms are closed. The washrooms at the Government Dock in Mindemoya will be opened but converted to single-use.
