Lewis-Death-B&WIn loving memory of Clarence Lewis, 80 years, who passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, April 15, 2013. Beloved husband of Suzanne (née Brisson). Son of the late Dominic and late Rose Lewis. Loving father of Stacey and Kevin. Dear brother of Elaine Milne (Rick), Ronald, Leo and Doris Smith (predeceased). Sadly missed by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. A retired teacher, he taught school in Honora Bay, Little Current, Wikwemikong, Naughton, New Sudbury and Hanmer. Clarence took great pride in his home and yard and was an avid fan of the Sudbury Wolves. He was a member of the Hanmer Knights of Columbus. He was also on the Board of Directors of Little NHL for many years. Clarence was a band member of the Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve. The family received relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St. Joseph Street, Hanmer on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11 am at the St. Kevin’s Church, Val Therese. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
