Knox United looks forward to 2020 charity golf tournament

ASSIGINACK – The sixth annual Knox United Church charity golf tournament is already in the planning stages and will take place at Rainbow Ridge Golf Course on Tuesday, July 7 with a 10:30 am check in and an 11 am shotgun start. 

Tickets are $110 which includes green fees, shared cart, participation in all contests, box lunch, water and goodie bag followed by the popular chicken and rib dinner served at the curling club hall. Tickets purchased by June 3 will receive a $20 discount. A $20 discount will be applied for members of Rainbow Ridge. Participants paying by July 1 will be entered into a draw for one of four free tickets for the 2021 tournament. And finally, each player receives a $25 charitable donation receipt. There are three hole-in-one prizes including a new car from McQuarrie Motors, a Kawasaki side-by-side from Allen’s Automotive and $10,000 cash from McDougall Fuels. Chances of winning this year are better than ever! 

To date, over $58,500 has been raised and shared equally between the Knox building fund and many of the local charitable and non-profit organizations in the Manitoulin community. Larry Karn and Tom Carrick from the Manitowaning Mill Home Building Centre have again agreed to be the title sponsors for this significant community fundraising event.
