Lori-Ann Marie Assiniwe (Waase Zii Aankwat Kwe – Shining Cloud Woman), at 35 years, passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Survived by common-law husband Clint Wemigwans and her precious children Tyrell and Brittany (friend Jade). Loving grandmother of one grandchild Leah Jayden Camira. Dear daughter of Larry Eshkibok and Edna Assiniwe (both predeceased). Dear granddaughter of Josephine Eshkibok and Robert “Bob” Eshkibok (predeceased) and Josephine and George Assiniwe (both predeceased). Dear sister of Peggy (friend Kando) of Kaboni, Christina of Sault Ste. Marie, and Leslie Neshkiwe of Little Current. Loving daughter-in-law of Evelyn and Wilfred Wemigwans. Sadly missed by sister-in-laws April and Courtney Wemigwans. Dear niece of Marie (husband Willie), Hughie (wife Iris), Stella, Mary, Clarence, Mike, Donny and Clayton. Godparents Hughie Eshkibok and Marian Pangowish. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rested at St. Ignatius Church in Buzwah from 4 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2013 until Funeral Mass at 11 am Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Holy Cross Mission. Burial at Kaboni Cemetery.
