New clerk-administrator named in Tehkummah

TEHKUMMAH – After a one-year transition period, Tehkummah Township has hired a full-time clerk­administrator to take the leadership role as advisor to council and lead municipal staff, effective next month.

T. Silvio Berti, a resident of the township with municipal and project management experience, will by appointed the clerk-administrator at the September 10 meeting of township council. 

“I’m looking forward to my new role as clerk-administrator for the Township of Tehkummah and to the challenges and opportunities it will provide,” said Mr. Berti.

Reeve David Jaggard expressed his pleasure at the prospect of the leadership that the new clerk will provide. “Council looks forward to working together with Mr. Berti and the staff on bringing progress to the township. During the transition, Mr. Roy Hardy, the former acting clerk-administrator will assist Silvio on an as-needed basis.”
