Wilma “Willie” Eileen White

White-DeathWilma “Willie” Eileen White passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the age of 54. Dear mother of Joshua (Crystal). Proud gramma of Braden, Madison and Christiaan. Beloved daughter of Hazen and Wilda White of Providence Bay. Loved by brother Bruce (Darlene) of Meldrum Bay, sister Linda (Brad Leibel) of Alberta, predeceased by brother Douglas. Special friend of Tim Brook and Randy Orford of Spring Bay, Brita Henry of Providence Bay, Jay Middaugh and Sarah Lauzon of Gore Bay. Always remembered by lots of family and friends. Willie loved gardening, flowers and rocks. She was the unofficial go to person if you had a question about lilies, hollyhocks and countless other flowers or flowerbed questions. Meldrum is prettier with her flowers growing everywhere. She loved the look of “rusty patina” collecting old stoves and windows. Going to the beach was a favourite pastime, spending time with her dog Lilly, and playing Yahtzee. Her love of animals was well known, as well as her big heart and infinite kindness, shown with gifts of jam, flower seeds, and love. Memorial Service and interment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery in May. Date and time to be determined. Donations to Manitoulin Pet Save would be very appreciated. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
