In loving memory of Margaret Wabegijig who passed away peacefully at York Extendicare in Sudbury at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Joe Wabegijig and Charlotte Manitowabi of Wikwemikong. Beloved mother of Robert Wabegijig (Dierdre). Adored sister of Mary Naponse (Ted) (predeceased), Pat Wabegijig (Cecile) (predeceased), Frank Wabegijig (Madeline) (predeceased), Charlie Wabegijig (Martha) (predeceased), Ernest Wabegijig (Gwen) (predeceased), Clarence Lewis (Suzanne), Doris Smith (predeceased), Leo Lewis (Loretta), Ron Lewis, and Elaine Milne (Rick). Lovingly remembered by Rebecca, Sara, Thomas, Francis, Stacey, and Kevin. She will always have a special place in our hearts. Visitation was from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Island Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2012. Funeral service was held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Little Current on Friday, January 4 at 11 am. In remembrance, those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations to the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association.
