Reverend David Pawson Bould

Bould-DeathReverend David Pawson Bould died on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Kirkland and District Hospital, at the age of 82. Reverend Bould was predeceased by two of his brothers. He is lovingly remembered and survived by: his wife Sandra Orr; children Robert Jackson (Jennifer) Bould, Doug (Dawn) Bould, Linda (Daniel) Nielson, Eric (Leanne) Nielson, and Jo-Ann (David) Mundy; grandchildren R.J., Cassie, Jennifer, Richard, Andrew, Katarine, Callum, and Sarah, four great-grandchildren, and his brother, Bruce Bould. As a minister with the United Church of Canada, Reverend Bould served many communities from Saskatchewan, Manitoulin Island, Northwestern Quebec and Northern Ontario. He originally came to Kirkland Lake in 1978, as an interim minister for Trinity United Church; this temporary posting was to last 24 years. Even though Reverend Bould retired in 2002, he continued his calling by serving those in the church and the wider community when asked. Reverend Bould’s greatest loves in life were spending time with family and friends, camping, travelling, gardening, and cooking. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Trinity United Church (40 Station Road South, Kirkland Lake, Ontario).
