MANITOULIN – To help promote Manitoulin Island and all its wonders, ExploreManitoulin.com is hosting a contest all summer long for your chance to win some great experiential tourism packages. All you have to do is snap a photo of something tourism-related on Manitoulin, add it to Instagram using the hashtag (#) ‘exploremanitoulin’ and keep your fingers crossed!
Each week, photos from that seven-day span will be put into a random draw with one lucky winner drawn from those participants. The first draw will take place on Canada Day, July 1 and following that, on the Monday of each week for the remainder of the summer.
For the first draw, the prize-winning photographer will win an hour-long trail ride for two courtesy of Honora Bay Riding Stable located just west of Little Current.
“Our guided Ontario Trail Rides take you through some of Manitoulin Island’s most stunning scenery aboard one of our well-trained horses,” the riding stable’s website states. “Whether you wish to take a gentle and relaxing ride through quiet woods or would like a more challenging ride through open fields and narrow pathways, Honora Bay offers the trail for you.”
