William ‘Bill’ Anthony Hynes

William “Bill” Anthony Hynes passed from this world to the next on Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Sudbury at the age of 69 years after a long battle with heart disease and cancer. Son of the late Louis and the late Helen (née Pearce) Hynes. Beloved husband of Laura (née Sinclair) Hynes of Levack. Loving father of Trumont Hynes of Sudbury and stepfather of Andrea Bennett (late Daryl) of Gogama. Dear brother of Tom (Jane), Michael (Elizabeth), Alonzo (Ethel), Mary (Joe), Helen and Kevin (Jacqueline). Predeceased by his siblings Leo, Elizabeth, Angelo and Louis. Cherished grandfather of Kenny Ristimaki (and family), Kendra, Hunter, Colt and Savannah. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, council 11565, Levack, as well as a member of the 4th degree. He had a special place in his heart for Manitoulin Island: it was as close as he could get to the “Big Rock”: Newfoundland. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11 am in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Levack. Cremation to follow and interment in Maplecrest Cemetery at a later date. Donations (by cheque only) to the St. Bartholomew’s Building Fund would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Chelmsford.
