Darwin Dolton McCulligh

January 18, 1957 – November 8, 2012

In loving memory of Darwin McCulligh, a resident of Evansville, who died at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the age of 55 years. He was born in Mindemoya, son of the late Sherman and Velda (Gardiner) McCulligh. Darwin had been a heavy equipment operator, working for various companies over the years. He had a great love for the outdoors. He loved to fish, ice fish and especially hunting both deer and moose. Darwin was a likeable guy and will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but many good memories will be cherished by family and friends. Darwin is survived by his beloved wife Darla. Loving and loved father of Conrad (Kelly) of Windsor, Aaron (Leah), of Hamilton and Zach at home. Proud grandfather of Meaghan, Kian and Logan. Also survived by brothers Elwood (Cheryl) of Gore Bay and Eldridge (Sadie) of Providence Bay. Will be missed by nephews and nieces Jerry McCulligh (Laurie), Carrie–Lynn McCulligh, Amanda Little (Lucas), Stacey Daley (Chris), Tawnya Larabee (Jean) and several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by niece Mary-Ann McCulligh and nephew Kenneth McCulligh. In keeping with Darwin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Darwin’s life was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel of the Culgin Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 11 am. Interment of ashes in Burpee-Mills Cemetery.
