Samuel Andrew Watson, born in Sandfield May 21, 1917, died peacefully on February 15, 2019. Dear Husband of 75 years to Dottie (Williamson) Watson. Father to Robert (Sharon), Janice (Hal) Love, Larry (Laura) and Marilyn predeceased. Grandfather to Rob, Sara, Mary Lynn, Johanna, Trevor, Kyle, Erin, Curtis, and Kait. Great-grandfather to Lucas, Sophie, Sydney, Charlotte, Avett, Edie, Ethan, Kyle, Ashton, Landon, Brinley, Samara, Emery, Anders, Maeve, Lennon, and Joni. Predeceased by siblings Stan (Ruby), Margaret (Ven), Rhea (Lester). Brother-in-law to Dale DeMan and Norie McConnell. Andy enjoyed family events, playing cribbage, crokinole on his 90-year-old solid wood board, golfing with his buddies and being at the hunt camp with Andy’s Army. He was a great historian and loved sharing his life experiences. Family and friends will gather at Sandfield School House on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Visitation from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm with a Masonic Service at 1:30 pm and funeral service at 2 pm. Burial at Hilly Grove Cemetery. Donations to Fairview United Church.
