Innovative Solutions Canada
Innovative Solutions Canada is a new $100 million+ federal government challenge-based program in which 20 participating departments and agencies pose challenges to the small business community seeking novel solutions. If your proposed solution is selected, your small business can receive up to $150,000 to develop a proof of concept and up to $1 million to develop a prototype. If your solution solves the challenge, the government could be your first customer.
FAASTsheet manuals now available for download
All of FAAST’s (Farmed Animal Antimicrobial Stewardship Initiative) information sheets (FAASTsheets) are now available for veterinarians and farmed animal owners in one handy manual. Each manual is written to be applicable across species and customized to its veterinarian or animal owner audience. The manuals provide key messages surrounding antimicrobial resistance and outline all upcoming policy and regulatory changes relating to antimicrobial use and access. All FAASTsheets are also online at www.amstewardship.ca They are downloadable as PDFs for printing and are available in English and French.
