Updated – Hwy 17 re-opened following collision between a tractor trailer and a school bus

Highway 17 is now open at Blind River

The East Algoma OPP Detachment are advising the public that Highway 17 is closed at Park Road west of Blind River due to a collision between a tractor trailer and a school bus. No detour is available. The duration of the closure is presently unknown and no details of injuries have been released.

Hwy 17 is fully open at Blind River.
