(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) -On Monday February 12, 2018, members of the Manitoulin-Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged five youths stemming from a series of break and enters and mischiefs.
In the early morning hours of Saturday February 2, 2018, suspects gained entry into a retail store on Manitowaning Road in Little Current, Ontario and items were stolen. Later that day, suspects gained entry into a Church on Robinson Street where they caused damage and stole items from inside the Church.
After investigation, police charged five youths with numerous property related Criminal Code (CC) offences. The youths cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
