To the Expositor:
On behalf of the Howland Seniors Group, I would like to thank Alicia McCutcheon and her staff for all the great work around our ‘Sheg Bear Reunion’ event.
We appreciate all the effort and especially the great article covering the event. It was lots of fun for all of us, and those who attended. We are having some discussion around putting together a similar event to celebrate some of the women’s hockey teams from the same time. So if you have pictures, newspaper clippings, etc., dig them out.
A special thank you to Norma Hughson who did lots of work for the event and who still has some DVDs available. It is always great when community comes together to have a good time.
