Mindemoya takes 2-0 lead in men’s fastball series

MINDEMOYA—The Mindemoya Brewers have taken a stranglehold of their Manitoulin Men’s Fastball League championship final series against the Gore Bay Merchants.

Mindemoya bested Gore Bay 11-8 in game two of the best three out of five series this past Monday in Mindemoya. The Brewers now have a two games to nothing lead in the series.

Ryan Prior was the winning pitcher for Mindemoya in game two. Mindemoya won game one of the series last week by a score of 12-2.

Game three of the series was scheduled to take place in Gore Bay last night (Thursday).
