MARION KATHELINE DEBASSIGE In loving memory of Marion Katheline Debassige who passed away at McLaren Greater Lansing, Michigan on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the age of 75. Born to Josette (nee Toulouse) and Lazare Debassige in Excelsior on December 19, 1941. Beloved wife of Douglas Debassige. Loving mother of Will, Ronald and Kelly. Loving sister of Mike Debassige (Winnie “Pam” predeceased) of M’Chigeeng, Margaret Manitowabi (predeceased), Julie Debassige of Toronto, Lewis Debassige of M’Chigeeng and Christine and Robert McGregor of Toronto. Also survived by sister-in-law Bessie Debassige (Peter predeceased) and brother-in-law Bill Simmers (Martha predeceased). Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and relatives called at Saswaahns Spiritual Centre, 44 Tikmeg Road, M’Chigeeng after 3 pm on Monday, September 11, 2017. Funeral Mass was held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment in M’Chigeeng Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
