To the Expositor:
Every race, religion, gender, age (along with many a very decked out four-legged breed), walked past my front door today outfitted in a literal rainbow of colours in the Pride Parade. The music, laughter and clear enjoyment being had by all shows the wonderful tolerance displayed by we Islanders. What perfect timing, with all the hatred that has tried to raise its ugly head in other parts of the world this past week, it is so great to see the Manitoulin Island communities be part of something uplifting.Â
Hats off to the organizers of what appears to have been a very successful Pride event.
