Barbra “Barb” Lee (Lariviere) Hodge died peacefully at her residence on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the age of 54. Loved daughter of the late Diana Lariviere (nee Abotossaway) and Albert Lariviere of Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation. Beloved wife of Kenneth Hodge. Loved mother of Derek Hodge and Dante Abotossaway of Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation. Survived by her siblings Albert (Susan) Lariviere of Pickering, Tanya (Daniel) Turnbull of Hanmer, Nicole Abotossaway (Jonathan Pitt) of North Bay. Predeceased by her sister Melody Abotossaway. Also survived by her nieces and nephews, Alison and Elizabeth Lariviere of Pickering and Brett and Bradley Jackson, Tate, Seth and Cord Turnbull of Hanmer, Harlow Abotossaway, Jocelyn and Jacob Pitt of North Bay. Barb leaves behind her beloved pets Peppy and Daisy. Family and friends gathered at the AOK Community Centre on Sunday, August 20, 2017 beginning at 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the AOK Community Centre on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11 am. Burial will take place at the Aundeck Omni Kaning Cemetery.
