ROSS ALLAN DOWNHAM

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross Allan Downham, peacefully on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 surrounded by his family. Survived by his son Jason Downham and daughter Jennifer Downham (Chris Kotseff) and long-time partner Leanne McGill Hayward. Predeceased by his parents Allan and Constance, sister Diane Bouffard and niece Carina Bouffard and his beloved dog Mukwa. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Ross spent his 66 years of life in the Sudbury area, Guelph, Waterloo Region and his beloved Manitoulin Island. Ross was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and animal lover who lived his life to the fullest and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Ross attended the University of Guelph and received his MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. The family would like to send their most sincere gratitude to the amazing staff at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. As per Ross’ wishes, the family will not be holding a public service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Ross’ name to Manitoulin Streams Improvement Association or the Health Sciences North Foundation in Sudbury.
