ALAN REYNOLDS

Alan Eric Reynolds of Tehkummah passed away peacefully June 7, 2017 at the age of 63 at Health Science North Hospital in Sudbury after a brief illness. He is predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Mary Lou (Rumley) in May 2016. Brother to Susan (Bruce) Tobey and Michele (Bruce) Newman, all of Woodstock. Son-in-law to Ruth Rumley of Mindemoya. Brother-in-law to Eldene (Brian) Shepard of Providence Bay and Morris Rumley. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. In his health Alan loved the simple life, sitting around a campfire with friends, he loved the great outdoors camping in remote areas, even in the winter. He enjoyed taking to the skies flying his 1939 Taylercraft plane. Predeceased by his father Peter Reynolds (2007), his mother Margaret Reynolds (2012), brother Anthony Reynolds (2016), father-in-law Orton Rumley (2014) and brother-in-law Bill Rumley (2013). Alan was a devoted member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Little Current. Memorial Service to be held at the Hotel and Conference Centre in Little Current on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 2 pm, followed by a light lunch. Interment will be at a later date.
