ALEADA FERGUSON

July 17, 1926 – May 15, 2017
Aleada Ferguson passed away on May 15, 2017 at her home in the Wikwemikong Nursing home in her 91st year. Predeceased by her parents William and Fanny “Marshall” Hubbert and her brothers Orland, Ernest and sister Betty McCorriston. Predeceased by husband Lewis Ferguson, sons Henry, Lindsay, David, Donald, George, Maurice and daughter Bonnie. Survived by son Carman Ferguson (wife Maxine), daughter Lillian Neveroff (husband Alex predeceased), granddaughter Connie Richter (husband Brent) and great-granddaughter Sadie Richter. She loved to sew, do crafts, cook and have visits from the children in her neighbourhood, many who called her “Gramma” when she lived in Green Bay. Services were held at Island Funeral Home. Visitation was Friday, May 19, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 1 pm until the Funeral Service at 3 pm. Burial at Green Bay Cemetery. Donations to Community Living Manitoulin or the MHC Auxiliary greatly appreciated.
