ALEXANDER “POPEYE” TRUDEAU September 2nd, 1930-March 29, 2017 Alexander Aaresident of Wikwemikong died peacefully at Wikwemikong Nursing Home, on Wednesday, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Josephine Trudeau. Survived by his sister Jane Pangowish, and godchild John Pangowish. Predeceased by parents Josephine (nee Recollet) and Dominic “Biisinai” Trudeau, brothers Ambrose (Edna), Isaac, Henry, Ralph and sister Suzanne. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Popeye loved to play cards, he really loved it when a visitor would stopped by, “out came the cribbage board.” He loved horses, horseracing, bingo, and had a passion for hockey and baseball. He will be greatly missed by all the staff at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, where he lived most of his life.
