RUTH GERTRUDE MIGWANS August 18, 1939 to March 26, 2017 In loving memory of our mother, grandmother, aunty, and friend. Affectionately known as Grandma Ruth in our community neighborhood, our loved one has been welcomed into the spirit world on Sunday March 26, 2017. She will always be remembered for her love of life and living. She loved reading, playing scrabble, bingo, yard sales, cribbage, watching The Young and Restless and Survivor. Ruth was a seamstress who created beautiful clothing, coats, and was an expert in alterations. Ruth always made the time for her family. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by her only daughter Penny (Michael) Corbiere, and her sons Duncan Pheasant, Darin (Teresa) Migwans, John Roy (Abby), and Robert Migwans. As well as her grandchildren Meeshen Corbiere, Samantha Pheasant, Ayla Migwans, Julia Migwans, Olivia Migwans, Grace Migwans, Dylan Corbiere (predeceased) and Dyan Roy. Ruth will now reunite with her parents Ambrose and Rose (Lambert) Pheasant, sister Ursula McLean, and the love of her life George Debassige. Please watch over us until we meet again. Please join us in celebrating the life of Ruth Migwans Visitation was held at Robert’s house at 644 Cross Hill Road starting at 4 pm on Thursday March 30, 2017. Funeral Mass was held in the Immaculate Conception Church Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10:30 am. Burial at the M’Chigeeng Cemetery with a feast to follow at Saswaahns Spiritual Centre.
