JANICE LOUISE MASTELKO

In loving memory of Janice Louise Mastelko, November 5, 1962 – February 6, 2017. Born to parents Boleslaw (Bill) and Doris (nee Smith), both predeceased. She will be forever remembered and loved by her brother John, sister-in-law Lori and her two nephews, Bryce and Brett, who were her pride and joy. Special friend to Fred Delabbio. Cherished childhood friend of 52 years to sisters Dale Hann, Darlene Parsons and Danette Hann and brother Rodney Hann. Fondly remembered by Glenn and Nellie Hann and Brenda (Pinch) Rintoul. Will be deeply missed by her Fur Babies – Brandy, Ivory and Mish. Remembered by many cousins in Canada and Poland. Janice was a loyal and loving friend, a caring and compassionate nurse, and a proud and adoring aunt. She loved singing, reading, camping, spending time at the farm, and working as camp nurse at Camp Falcona. Over the years she was an active member of the RCL Branch 177 Ladies’ Auxiliary, Burns Wharf Theatre Group, Island Singers and Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Janice was very spiritual, often reading passages or assisting in the worship at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in her role as Lay Reader. Family and friends gathered at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Visitation from 11 am until Funeral Service at 1 pm. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery in the Spring. Donations may be made to Manitoulin Pet Rescue or Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Island Funeral Home can accept only cheques for all charitable donations.
