Man facing charges in domestic disturbance

In the early hours of January 14, members of the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a residence in Little Current. 

Police attended and found an adult woman with minor injuries and property damage in the residence. 

As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old Little Current man has been charged with the following: assault, mischief and possession of marijuana under 30 grams.
The male was released from custody following a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 14 in Gore Bay. 

Police seek information regarding mischief to a vehicle in Little Current

Overnight between January 19 and January 20, a vehicle was damaged while parked in a private driveway on Vankoughnet St. East in Little Current. The culprits attended the residence on foot after parking at the Manitoulin Health Centre. 

Any person with information regarding those responsible for this mischief should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
