MURCHIE ROBERTS WRIGHT
Murchie Roberts Wright, a resident of Little Current, died peacefully at Manitoulin Centennial Manor on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the age of 85. Born to parents Myrtle (nee Turner) and Hubert Wright, in New Brunswick on January 10, 1931. Murchie will be remembered as an active member of the community; playing sports, volunteering and serving the community. He could fix most anything. He was a humble mechanical genius with a wry sense of humour. Predeceased by both his first wife Margaret and his second wife Glenna. Loved father of Gregory (Mary Lynn), Terry (Ann), Mitchell (Shelley), and Kevin (Carol). Proud grandfather of Michael (Crystal), Jennifer, Katie (Eric Levesque), Taylor, Peter, Christopher (Sarah), Aaron, Hope (Michael Swicegood), Greer (Austin Lones). Great-grandfather of Elliott, Ben, Harrison, Oliver and Liam. Dear brother of Marvin of California. Predeceased by brother Harry and sisters Madeline and Sandra. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will have a gathering at a later date.
