BLIND RIVER—Wikwemikong Warriors high school x-country runners competed in the pre-NSSSAA (North Shore Secondary Schools Athletic Association) event this past Wednesday, October 13 in Blind River.
Novaleigh Pelletier finished second in the midget girls’ division (2.9 km) with a time of 17:43.62. Ian Dokum finished first in the midget boys’ division (4.9 km) with a time of 25:05.70, and D.J. Maiangowi and Giordano finished strongly in the senior boys’ division.
The Warriors return to the NSSSAA event in Blind River on Friday, October 21. Special thanks to Aurel Fox-Recollet as the assistant coach.
