They are: Mad Hatter Technology Inc., $18,880; E-Solutions Group, $16,950; Civic Plus, $17,571.50 USD; Barking Dog Studios Inc., $14,893.80; Petryna Advertising, $16,950; Creatrix Design Group, $15,187.20; Y factor Inc., $14,633.50; Xquisit Communications Inc., $16,899.15; Jackpine, $16,950; Hot Soup Media, $15,000; Mobile Local Consulting, $5,100; Rack and Pinion Creative, $15,000; Lithium Marketing, $32,000; Snagged Interactive Media, $15,305.85; Wintellect Corporation, $8,850-21,982; Simalam, $13,560; Digital Properties Group, $14,891.13; and ORP.ca, $16,385.
The tender was awarded to Simalam for their quote of $13,560, including HST.
Accounts for payment
Council approved the following accounts for payment: general, $189,976.39; payroll, $46,889.59.
City of Greater Sudbury agreement
Council passed a motion to amend its Recyclables Acceptance Agreement with the City of Greater Sudbury, increasing the processing rate of Assiginack recyclables by the annual cost index to $100.02 per tonne of recyclables accepted.
Assiginack donates to Parent Council
Following a delegation from Mark Gibeault on behalf of the Assiginack Public School Parent Council, council approved a donation of $2,250 to the Parent Council for the purchase of updated audio/visual equipment to be used at public assemblies.
Winter sand and aggregates tender
Assiginack received three tenders for winter sand and aggregates: Mike Varey Excavating, $50,068.04; C. Pearson and Son Excavation and Haulage; $50,056.74; and Don Eadie Construction, $58,534. The tender was awarded to C. Pearson and Son Excavation and Haulage in the amount of $50,056.74, HST inclusive.
