TREENA MARIE ABOTOSSAWAY (KUREK)
Treena Marie Abotossaway (Kurek), lovingly called Bean by her parents Clayton Abotossaway (Deceased) and mother Iris Abotossaway (Esquimaux), was born on February 12, 1971. Heavenly Father called her home June 9, 2016. Treena grew up with Holly Elsohemy (Gamal). Together they enjoyed the love and attention of Lori Pacheco (Nelson), Terry Abotossaway (Glenda, deceased), Patti McComber (Jim), Cheryl Audette (Denis), Melanie Abotossaway (Dave, deceased), Maxwell Abotossaway (Beverly), Kelly Abotossaway (Tracy) and Aron Abotossaway (deceased). Treena leaves four daughters to remember their young at heart mom. Rebecka Madahbee-Abotossaway (Kerdo), Renee Madahbee-Abotossaway (Jake), Courtney Kurek (Ty), and Karleigh Kurek (Kyle). Bean was blessed with time in her long battle with cancer to welcome, love and hold four sweet grandbabies Maya May in 2008 (predeceased) in 2010, twins Jaxon and Madison in 2014, Theo Clayton James in 2015. Treena will be sadly missed by many aunts and uncles, her online cousins and friends who looked forward to her daily inspirational pictures and posts, her close and loving friend Margaret Bowerman and longtime friend Willy Lema will always remember her mischievous grin and twinkle in her eye until they meet again. Visitation was at Aundeck Omni Kaning Community Centre on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 6 pm to 11 pm. Funeral Service was at Aundeck Omni Kaning Community Centre, June 13, 2016 at 11 am. Burial in Aundeck Omni Kaning Cemetery.
