Humphrey Clarence Beaudin, a resident of Little Current, died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Eunice. Predeceased by his first wife Betty (nee Lockyer). Proud father of Susan Beaudoin of Toronto and Dennis (predeceased) wife Sharon of Nova Scotia. Stepfather of Lori (Dave Draper) and Tim Moore (Lisa). Loving grandfather of Christopher, Leilani, Timothy, Darren, and step-grandfather of Beth, Cheryl, David and Brittany. Cherished great-grandfather of Natasha, Darren Jr., Caleb, Lucas. and step-great-grandfather of Bryce, Chloe, Ava, Cameron, Sabrina, Spencer, Hailey and Julian. Dear brother of Albert (Margaret), John (Mae), Charlie (Doreen), Stanley (Betty), Wesley (Joan), Margaret Morphet (Walter), Alfreda Roberts (all predeceased) (Bruce). Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Humphrey had a full and exciting life. He was a world traveller, a reverend, a postmaster for 25 years, a butcher with Canada Packers, and he served in the Essex Scottish Regiment in the Canadian Forces. While in the army Humphrey began a successful boxing career which lead to his induction into the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame in 1994. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home. Visitation was Friday, April 29, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1 pm. Donations to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Association, MHC Auxiliary, Centennial Manor Auxiliary or the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
