LLOYD HOCKEN
Lloyd Hocken, age 68, a resident of Little Current, passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on April 19, 2016. He was the son of the late Norman Lloyd Hocken and of the late Kitty (nee Faraway) Hocken. Beloved brother of Elaine (Wallace) Moore and Allan Hocken. Uncle to Andrew (Heather), Jason (Jennifer), Terri (Lester) Dawe. Great-uncle to Lacey, Billie May, Isabella, Hannah, Hunter and Hank. He was employed as a laborer, Lloyd was a pet lover who enjoyed walking. As a child he enjoyed swimming and picking blueberries. He was an avid reader and was very active in his church. The family received friends at the Grace Bible Church in Little Current on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 4 pm to 6 pm. A celebration of Lloyd’s life was held at the Grace Bible Church at 6 pm followed by a reception. Burial will be held at a later date at the Mountainview Cemetery. Donations to the Grace Bible Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Island Funeral Home can only accept cheques for all charitable donations.
