HAROLD MORPHET
Harold “Rev” “Musket” Morphet, age 74, of Little Current passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Manitoulin Health Centre in Little Current. Beloved husband of Brenda Morphet (nee Valiquette). Son of the late Walter Morphet and of the late Margaret (nee Beaudin). Beloved father of Melanie (Given Cortes) of Little Current and Marsha (Darin Lanktree) of Lively. Dear grandfather of Mackenzie, Jared, Spencer, Adam and Hannah. Survived by his sister Dorothy Hudson of Manitowaning. Harold was retired from the Manitoulin Health Centre in Little Current where he worked as a Stationary Engineer. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 177 in Little Current. The family received friends at the Island Funeral Home in Little Current on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9 am. Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 am at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery at a later date. A reception followed at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 177 in Little Current. Donations to the Lung Association, the Manitoulin Health Centre Auxiliary Memorial Fund or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 177 would be greatly appreciated.
