Tuesday—No in like a lion today, unless our March got confused with February’s extra day.
Anyway, I baked some onion muffins. First baking I’ve done since? A new recipe, a bit too sweet, but okay I guess.
Did some again for the cribbage on Wednesday. Not enough onion this time, but less sweet!
We had four and a half tables, and my goodness what great food today. Good cooks around for sure. High hand, tied with 20, Lois and Sheila; first, Bert and Joy, 948; second, Ted and Dorothy, 936; third, Audrie and Betty Jean, 920; low, Lois and Margaret, 869; door, Florence and Audrie.

I went to Mum’s after and we had a few games. I went home smiling. She sometimes plays the beating an old lady song, but I’m old too, and it’s every “man” for him/herself!
Eight and a half tables for euchre on Thursday afternoon. Good cakes and snacks for lunch after. Betty Jean and I played partners but we didn’t come into any money. First, Sharlene and Donna, 77; second, Pauline and Wayne, 75 and 7 lone hands; third, Lynn and Doris, 73, and Andy and Linda, 73; fourth, Margaret and Janet, 70; low, Bert and Joy, 43; door, Reta Parkinson.
Cal and I went to Carol’s and Earl’s Friday evening.
A meeting and lunch at Susan’s on Saturday was positive.
Sunday morning Mary Yett and Marg O’Neil stopped in after church.
