In loving memory of Beverly H. Moggy, 74 years, who passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Victoria (Stewart) Moggy. Loving father of Stewart (wife Lisa) and Steven (wife Tracy). Cherished grandfather of Gabriella, Thomas, Lauren, Brianna and Jack. Dear son of Comfort and Carrie (Hughson) Moggy predeceased. Dear brother of Raymond predeceased, June (husband Bev Newman) both predeceased, Dale, John (wife Peggy predeceased), Dorothy predeceased and Douglas (wife Kathy). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Bev was a retired INCO miner. He was active in the community, assisting and championing many worthwhile causes including coaching minor hockey, being a scout leader and trainer and a dedicated member of the Onaping Falls Lions Club having served in various executive capacities and endless volunteer hours. Bev truly embodied the Lion’s Motto “We Serve”. He was an avid golfer and an accomplished woodworker. Bev was devoted to his family especially his precious grandchildren, taking great pride and interest in their accomplishments and activities. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Service was held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1 pm. Friends gathered in the chapel after 12:45 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016.Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
